While driving around Banner Marsh I decided to pull up the Find-A-Grave app to see if there were any interesting cemeteries to check out.
The map showed Wright cemetery, with some granite headstones, to be just a few miles away tucked into the woods.
After parking on Chaney Rd as instructed I trekked across a corn field and through the woods, past a tree stand and a deep ravine.
Not far from a cute little lake I found four, mostly illegible, headstones leaning up against some trees, but nothing resembling what was supposed to be Wright cemetery.
After a little computer sleuthing from home I found a listing for another cemetery near where I was called Kings Hill, although based on the GPS I’m not sure I found that either.
Whatever I found the coordinates are 40°32’01.7″N 89°53’36.5″W if someone else would like to give it a go.
