All of German descent, Christian made his fortune in the business of meat processing but the name Buehler is most associated locally with Buehler Home on Sheridan. Also known as the Christian Buehler Memorial Home for the Aged, it was founded in 1932, as decreed in Phoebe Potthoff Buehler’s will.
